Should I take an Intensive driving course?

If you want to Pass quickly then taking an Intensive Driving Course is a great idea. According to the DvSA  the average number of hours from zero to test standard is 45 hours.

Unlike a lot of Fast pass driving courses you do not need to have passed the theory before starting the course, another great advantage to speed the process up.

They are also a good idea if you have got halfway through your driving training and need to get this done FAST.

A lot of Crash driving courses have you sit in the car for 6-7 hours. Not good for a learner’s learning curve. We have found that the sweet spot of learning is between 2-4 hours.

You will potentially save money by doing one as you are not going over the same ground covered the week before. Very much like reading a book once a week, you have to go back a few pages to remember where you were.

More Information about Old St Mellons

Old St Mellons (Welsh: Pentre Llaneirwg) is a village and community (civil parish) on the eastern edge of Cardiff, Wales. It is separated from what is now the modern St Mellons suburb by the B4487 main road to Newport. Lying to the east of the Rhymney River it forms part of the historic county of Monmouthshire.

Old St Mellons is made up largely of 19th-century housing,[1] a village hall and several pubs and shops. The village had a school, converted in 1854 from the 17th-century Poor House, but this was demolished after it closed in the 1980s.[2] There are 15 nationally listed buildings and structures in the village, including St John’s College, St Julian’s Manor and two public houses.[3] As of 2007 there were four pubs, indicating the importance of St Mellons as a resting point on the route to London. Because St Mellons lay in Monmouthshire, it also avoided having to abide by the Welsh Sunday Closing Act.[4]
